After six years in San Francisco's tech industry, Candace turned away from the cold world of computers and pursued a more people-oriented career. In 2000 she completed a basic Shiatsu course at the San Francisco School of Massage, which piqued her interest in bodywork. She continued to study a range of healing modalities, including Cranial Sacral therapy, Watsu, prenatal massage, and, most influentially, structural bodywork. Since 1999, massage has been her passion and driving force. She recognizes the critical importance of human touch and therapeutic bodywork, and strives to keep this valuable health service accessible to all income levels and walks of life.
Jimmie is a student of functional holistic wellness and healing. Her journey in the healing arts began when she experienced chronic illness early in life. She has studied Western and Thai massage in the US and Thailand, and finds positive outcomes from integrating mindfulness and therapeutic stretching into massage treatments. Jimmie believes that we all deserve to be empowered with self care knowledge to enjoy life with greater ease.
Jannella began her massage career in Washington DC after graduating from the Potomac Massage Training Institute in 2001. In the years since then she has continued to broaden her skill set by studying a variety of healing modalities including Zero Balancing with Dr Fritz Smith of the Esalen Institute, common injury care with Dr Ben Benjamin, Lotus Palm Thai Yoga massage with Kam Tye Chow and Traditional Thai massage through the Thai Institute.
She is also a yoga instructor trained in a restorative style of yoga called Sahaj Tantra, Her yoga training enhances her practice.
JR graduated from San Francisco School of Massage in 2019. Specialized in deep tissue techniques, JR has spent his massage career focused on helping clients reduce stress, improve posture, alleviate pain, and find better movement. Off hours, JR spends his time indoor rock climbing, having fun conversations, and playing with his chiweenie Barney.
Bringing the spirit of aloha from the shores of Maui to the bustling Bay Area, Mason is a seasoned massage therapist with a passion for healing and wellness. He began his career in massage therapy under the tutelage of Hawaiian masters in Maui, where he immersed himself in the ancient practice of lomilomi alongside mastering the nuances of deep tissue, sports, trigger point and prenatal massage. Firmly believing that healing touch is essential to overall well-being, Mason approaches his craft with reverence and dedication, infusing each session with the warmth of the aloha spirit.
Esthetician & Massage Therapist
Gayle has over 2,000 hours since graduation in 1997 in massage therapy, has practiced as an esthetician since 2000. She graduated from San Francisco State University. She focuses on myofascial release, TMJ, sports deep tissue, tissue unwinding Craniosacral as helping release physical, mental and emotional pain stuck in our bodies.
Alexandra has been practicing massage for the last decade in both spa and sports massage settings. She specializes in Thai, Swedish and Deep Tissue massage as well as Myofascial cupping. Alexandra is also a yoga and meditation teacher that brings a love of body awareness and believes in working with, rather than against the body. Alexandra is happy to customize sessions to meet your specific body needs.
Kelly tailors each spa experience to the unique needs of the client. She takes a holistic approach to client concerns and applies her knowledge of gua sha, massage, and aromatherapy to promote maximum relaxation during appointments. Her dermaplaning option helps clients achieve smoother skin and increase the absorption of their skincare treatments. Kelly’s experience in the beauty industry has taught her to advice clients about new, notable ingredients and sustainable products that are worth the hype. She is a graduate of the San Francisco Institute of Cosmetology and Esthetics. Kelly is a yoga devotee and a loving resident of the Lower Haight neighborhood.
Michelle's love for skincare and makeup inspired her journey of becoming an esthetician, and she graduated from Cinta Aveda in 2017. She believes in skincare based on wellness, and is passionate about helping you build a customized regimen. Michelle's goal is to create a bespoke treatment that'll help you achieve healthy happy skin while helping to melt away tension, and promoting deep relaxation along the way. She loves taking her dog to the beach, cooking, and letting loose at karaoke.
